Weeksellaceae is a family in the order Flavobacteriales.[2][3] It was proposed to be split from the Flavobacteriaceae in 2019, based on phylogenetic analysis.[1]

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature[2] and the phylogeny is based on whole-genome sequences.[1][a]
