Will Brook

William Michael Brook (born 9 November 2003) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Shrewsbury Town.^[2]

Career

Born in Pontefract,^[3] Brook began his career at Leeds United, where he turned professional in July 2022,^[4] before moving to Nottingham Forest in summer 2023.^[5][6] He had a loan spell at Farsley Celtic in the second half of the 2024–25 season.^[3] Brook signed for Leamington in August 2025.^[7] He moved to Shrewsbury Town later that month.^[8][9] Head coach Michael Appleton said that Brook had been signed to compete with Elyh Harrison for the starting spot.^[10] He made his debut in the next game, a 3–1 victory away at Barnet.^[11][12] Brook credited his non-league experience for helping him challenge for the first-team place,^[13] and he kept his first clean sheet in his fourth appearance for the club.^[14]
