Windfall Films is the award-winning London-based British television production company that is known for creating innovative and it specializes in factual programming including covering science, engineering, history, natural history doumentary programming.
In February 2014, Windfall Films had been acquired by London-based international production group Argonon.[1]
On 11 September 2018 ahead of MIPCOM 2018, Windfall Films signed a multi-series acqusition deal with Canadian production & distribution company Cineflix via the latter's British distribution unit Cineflix Rights to handle distribution rights to Windfall Films' factual production series including Strip the Cosmos.[2]
On 15 January 2019, Windfall Films had reorganised its senior management team following the production company's celebration of its 30th anniversary as Windfall Films' co-founder & CEO David Dugan had taken the roll of executive chairman who would continue to guide Windfall Films' expansion of its growth & would focus on Windfall's upcoming productions, whilst Windfall Films' producer and company director Carlo Massarella who had joined the company in 1996 had became CEO of the production company and would continue to speahead the company's intetnational partnerships & co-productions.[3]
