Wofai Samuel (/wəʊfaɪə/ ⓘ 18 September 1990)[1] is a Nigerian communications executive and acting director-general of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce.[2][3]

Early life and education
Samuel was born in Calabar, Cross River State,[1] where she attended the Federal Government Girls College and the University of Calabar in 2012 where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology and environmental biology.[4] She also earned an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources and Organisational Management from the University of Lagos.[5]
Career
In 2019, Samuel served as Head of Oil & Gas Communications for the Foreign Investment Network. In 2021, she was the Editor of Africa Energy & Infrastructure Magazine.[6][7]
In 2021, Samuel was director of communication and external affairs to the UK-Liberia Chamber of Commerce.[8]
In August 2022, she joined the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce as director of communication, government relations and advocacy,[9] and later became acting director-general.[10]
In March 2024, Samuel implemented an inbound trade mission[11] to Nigeria for the Government of Illinois,[12] Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and was subsequently interviewed on Voice of America (Africa)[13][14] and Center for International Private Enterprise in Washington DC.[15]
Samuel is a member the World Agriculture Forum Council,[16] member of the Advisory Boards of Cetacea Online University,[17] an unaccredited university in Delaware, and the American Council on Management and Information Technology.[18]
Non-governmental engagements
Samuel moderated the YALI RLC West Africa Homecoming Conference in Lomé, Togo in December 2022.[19]
