Yazin Nizar (born February 9th 1990), also known as Yasin, is an Indian playback singer who appears in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi language films. Nizar has sung the Tamil and Malayalam versions of the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu.[1][2][3][4]

Yazin was born in Kollam, Kerala, India, on February 9, 1990. As a teenager, he received the Kalapraibha award in state and regional CBSE youth festivals. In his adulthood, he began performing live after participating and winning in televised singing competitions such as Gandharva Sangeetham, Sangeetha Mahayudham, and Apple Megastars.[1][5] He holds dual graduate degrees in MBA and Supply Chain Management (SCM).[6] He has sung in several Indian languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.[7]
In 2017, Nizar began releasing music independently. An example of a song from the early days of his independent music career is the multilingual track "Neeye, Neeve, and Neene," composed by Phani Kalyan. In this song, the multilingual track ‘Neeye, Neeve, and Neene,’ composed by Phani Kalyan, featured Nizar’s vocals in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
Yazin has been nominated twice for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer – Telugu at the 63rd Filmfare Awards South, for "Meghalu Lekunna" from Kumari 21F and "Charusheela" from Srimanthudu. He won the Best Upcoming Singer award at the 2015 Mirchi Music Awards South and GAMA Awards.
In 2021, Nizar recorded his debut song for A.R. Rahman in the Tamil film Galatta Kalyanam.[8]
