Yogesh Kumar Tyagi

Yogesh Kumar Tyagi is an Indian academic and the 22nd Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi.[1][2] He is a former Dean of the Faculty of Legal Studies at South Asian University and established a department for International law. Tyagi has authored in international journals, including a work on the UN Human Rights Committee (Cambridge University Press).

Education
Tyagi obtained his degree of Master of Laws ( LL.M) from the Columbia Law School in New York. He received Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.[1]
Career
Tyagi was a former professor of International law at Jawaharlal Nehru University and a member of Institut de Droit International. He served as a member of the Law Commission of India. He served as Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi from 10 March 2016 to March 2021.[3]
