  1. The Greek numeral representing the number nine (9), typically romanized as the Roman numeral IX.
    Η Όγδοη Σταυροφορία αναλήφθηκε και πάλι από τον Λουδοβίκος Θʹ της Γαλλίας το 1270. Η Θʹ Σταυροφορία υπολογίζεται πολλές φορές σαν μέρος της όγδοης.
    The Eighth Crusade was undertaken by Louis IX of France in 1270. The 9th Crusade is often considered part of the Eighth.

Usage notes

The Greek numbers from 1 to 999 are properly marked using the Greek numeral sign κεραία (keraía) ( ʹ ), though they may also be found with the tonos ( ΄ ) or apostrophe ( ' ).
