Suffix

-matu (genitive -matu, partitive -matut, comparative -matum, superlative kõige -matum)

  1. Derives nouns from (nominal stems of) verbs, that are generally only used in compounds
    panema "to put" → pandamatu, panematuvastupandamatu "irresistible", tähelepanematu, tähelepandmatu "inattentive"
    võtma "to take" → võetamatu, võtmatuvastuvõetamatu, vastuvõtmatu "unacceptable"
    kannatama "to suffer" → kannatamatu "impatient"
