  Kljub opozorilom, da vse to ni dovoljeno, je bila po pojasnili PU Ljubljana tudi na petkovem protestu v množici prižgana bakla in prinesene daljše palice, ki so jih zasegli. "Policija ne more in ne sme tolerirati takih kršitev, ne glede na to, kdo jih je storil. Prav navedbe, ki namigujejo, da bi morala policija tuje državljane drugače obravnavati, pomenijo etično profiliranje in opredeljevanje glede na rasno, versko, narodnostno ali kakšno drugo pripadnost, česar pa policija absolutno ne podpira. Zoper vse kršitelje bo vedno ukrepano na enak način," so poudarili na policiji.
  Despite warnings that all this was not allowed, the Ljubljana Police explained that even at Friday's protest a torch was lit in the crowd and longer sticks were brought in and confiscated. "The police cannot and must not tolerate such violations, regardless of who committed them. The very allegations that suggest that the police should treat foreign nationals differently amount to ethical profiling and profiling on the basis of race, religion, nationality or any other affiliation, which the police absolutely do not support. All offenders will always be dealt with in the same way," the police stressed.
