Etymology

Either adapted from English breaker (breakdancer) or a clipping of breakdance-tanssija (literally breakdance dancer) + -ari. For the former, compare räppäri, rumpali and other -ari agent nouns. For the latter, compare ostari, hamppari and plethora of other informal nouns clipped with the -ari suffix.
