From either Tagalog champoy which is originally from Cantonese 陳皮梅 / 陈皮梅 (can4 pei4 mui4-2) or Tagalog kiamoy (supposedly spelled as "ciamoy" in Philippine Spanish) which is originally from Hokkien 鹹梅 / 咸梅 (kiâm-muî).
