finfish (plural finfishes or finfish)
- Any fish, but especially fish other than flatfish
- (informal) Clipped compound of finned fish, as in e.g. ray-finned fish; used to distinguish them from shellfish, cartilaginous fish and other similar aquatic creatures customarily used as food.
