Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *lag- with -je suffix, from Proto-Indo-European *legʰ- (“to lay, lie (down)”). Cognate to Ancient Greek λόχος (lókhos, “ambush, ambuscade, armed band”). Plural form of lag.
