1. (computing) A word consisting of four bytes.

     The quadlets are time aligned for accuracy so that they may be loaded into the FIFO registers which are 32 bits wide and 64 quadlets deep.

2. A group of four similar or equal things, especially of rocket fuel injectors
   • 1976, NASA, “2.1.1.1: Element Selection”, in Liquid Rocket Engine Injectors‎, page 14:

     The unlike-impinging quadlet has been used rather extensively in space-vehicle engines.
