In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Madrazo and the second or maternal family name is Ruiz.
Madrazo left the Movistar Team at the end of the 2013 season,[8] and joined Caja Rural–Seguros RGA for the 2014 season.[3] In August 2016 Delko–Marseille Provence KTM announced that Madrazo would join them for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.[4][9]
