Chuharkana (Farooqabad) is a village which lies in the district of Sheikhupura, Punjab, Pakistan. Chuharkana is one of that 150 villages which were inhabited by Virk Jatts in the district of Sheikhupura. It is situated along the twin canals (Qadirabad Balloki Link Canal and Upper Gogera Branch Canal) about 55 km west of Lahore on Sargodha Road along Lahore-Islamabad M-2 Motorway and on Lahore-Faisalabad-Karachi Main Railway Line. This village came in news after Giyani Pinderpal Singh Ji described the glorious history of this village and how thousands of Virk Jatts sacrificed their lives for taking the sewa of Gurdwara Janam Asthan (Nankana Sahib) from the cruel mahants. Also, this is the village of Sardar Harshdeep Singh Chuharkana who started showing the disappearing culture of Punjab through different social media platforms.
