Jonathan Michael Richman (Natick, Massachusetts, 16 de mayo de 1951) es un cantante, compositor y guitarrista estadounidense.[1] En 1970, fundó the Modern Lovers, una influyente banda proto-punk con la que grabó varios discos hasta fines de los años 1980. Desde entonces y hasta la actualidad, se ha desempeñado como solista. Es conocido también por ser el compositor e intérprete de la banda sonora original de la película de 1998 There's Something About Mary.[2]
