Eesti poliitik, tennisist ja sporditegelane From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tiit Nuudi (sündinud 22. oktoobril 1949 Tallinnas) on Eesti tennisist, sporditegelane[1] ja poliitik.
Ta lõpetas 1968. aastal Tallinna 10. Keskkooli ja 1973. aastal Tallinna Polütehnilise Instituudi majandusinsenerina[1].
1969. aastal sai ta Eesti meistrivõistlustel tennise meespaarismängus pronksmedali[1]. Aastatel 1967–1971 kuulus ta kuus korda Eesti tennisekoondisse[1].
1978–1989 oli ta olümpiaehitiste direktsiooni peainsener ja direktor[1].
1982–1988 oli ta Tallinna Linna RSN Täitevkomitee aseesimees[1]. 1988–1889 oli ta Eesti NSV Riikliku Looduskaitse ja Metsamajanduse Komitee esimees ning 1990 Eesti keskkonnaminister[1]. 1990–1992 oli ta Eesti Vabariigi Ülemnõukogu esimehe nõunik[1]. Aastatel 1993–2012 oli ta AS Paulig Balticu juhatuse esimees.
Aastatel 1992–1997 oli ta Eesti Olümpiakomitee asepresident, 1997–2001 selle president ja 2001. aastast selle esindajate kogu liige[1].
2014. aastast on ta MTÜ Spordijuhtide Selts juhatuse liige[1].
Tema tütar on maailma naiste tennise edetabelisse kuuluv tennisist Maileen Nuudi (sündinud 24. mail 2000)[1].
