George Michael

George Michael (kodanikunimega Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou (kreeka: Γεώργιος Κυριάκος Παναγιώτου, Geórgios Kyriákos Panagiótou); 25. juuni 1963 East Finchley, Põhja-London – 25. detsember 2016 Goring, Oxfordshire) oli inglise laulja ja helilooja. Enne soolokarjääri tegutses koos Andrew Ridgeleyga ansamblis Wham!.

Tema isa Kyriacos Panayiotou kolis Küproselt Inglismaale 1950. aastatel ja võttis nimeks Jack Panos.^[1] Michaeli ema Lesley Angold oli inglise tantsija, kelle ema oli juut.^[2]

Oxfordshire'i koroneri Darren Salteri sõnul suri Michael 25. detsembril 2016 nõrgenenud südame ja kahjustunud maksa tõttu.^[3] Michael on maetud Põhja-Londoni Highgate'i kalmistule.^[4]
