Stari Ras (serb. Стари Рас, "vanha Ras") oli keskiaikainen kaupunki Serbiassa, silloisen Raškan valtion eli Župan pääkaupunki. Se perustettiin 800- tai 900-luvuilla ja hylättiin 1200-luvulla. Nykyisin siitä on jäljellä linnoituksia, kirkkoja ja luostareita lähellä Novi Pazarin kaupunkia. Kaupungin rauniot ja läheinen Sopoćanin luostari kuuluvat Unescon maailmanperintöluetteloon vuodesta 1979.[1]

Stari Rasin arkkitehtuurissa kohtasivat itäiset ja läntiset vaikutteet. Pyhän Yrjänän kirkko Djurdjevi Stupovin luostarissa, perustettu 1170–1171, on yhdistelmä romaanista ja bysanttilaista tyyliä. Kirkossa on myös kaksi kerrostumaa freskoja, vuosilta 1175 ja 1282–1283, jotka kuuluvat Balkanin hienoimpiin. Pietarin ja Paavalin kirkko on 900-luvun rakennus, rakennettu 600-luvun kappelin paikalle, ja vanhin Balkanilla säilynyt kirkko.[1]
