David Pownall

David Pownall (19. toukokuuta 1938 Liverpool, Britannia – 21. marraskuuta 2022) oli brittiläinen kirjailija.^[1] Hän on julkaissut näytelmiä, novelleja ja romaaneja. Pownall valmistui Keelen yliopistosta vuonna 1960 ja työskenteli Fordin henkilöstöosastolla ja kaivosyhtiö Anglo Americanissa, ennen kuin ryhtyi kokopäivätoimiseksi kirjailijaksi. Hän oli Paines Plough -kiertueteatterin toinen perustaja.^[2]

Suomessa hänen näytelmistään on esitetty Mestariluokkaa.^[3]

Pownall kuoli 21. marraskuuta 2022. Hän oli 84-vuotias.^[4]
