Soft Cell

Soft Cell oli englantilainen synthpop-duo 1980-luvun alkupuolella. Duon jäsenet olivat Marc Almond, laulu (1957–) ja David Ball, syntetisaattori (1959–2025^[1]). Yhtyeen sanoitukset keskittyvät yleensä rakkauteen ja romantiikkaan, mutta myös elämän pimeämpään puoleen, aiheina muun muassa transsukupuolisuus, huumeet ja murha. Yhtye teki vuonna 1981 cover-kappaleen ”Tainted Love”.
