Eger (en serbio e croata: Jegar / Јегар ou Jegra / Јегра; checo: Jager; eslovaco: Jáger; polaco: Jagier; Turco: Eğri; Alemán: Erlau; Latín: Agria) é unha cidade do norte de Hungría, capital do condado administrativo de Heves, a cidade está situada ó leste das montañas Mátra. Eger é coñecido polo seu castelo, baños termais, edificios históricos (incluíndo o minarete otomán situado máis ó norte de Europa) e por ser a capital dos mellores viños húngaros. A cidade ten unha poboación de 56.317 habitantes e unha superficie de 92,2 km².
