O Shkumbin é un pequeno río costeiro do centro de Albania que desemboca no mar Adriático. É considerado a liña divisoria entre os dous dialectos do idioma albanés, o tosco (ao sur) e o guego (ao norte). Elbasan é unha gran cidade pola que pasa este río.
