Tannhäuser und der Sängerkrieg auf Wartburg (en galego Tannhäuser e o torneo de trobadores do castelo de Wartburg) é unha ópera en tres actos con música e libreto en alemán de Richard Wagner, baseada en dúas lendas alemás.

Wagner empregou principalmente dúas historias que aparecen na obra de Ludwig Bechstein, entre outras fontes: unha delas é a lenda do cabaleiro Tannhäuser, e a outra é a chamada Der Sängerkrieg auf der Wartburg, é dicir o «concurso de canto do Castelo de Wartburg». Os temas principais da ópera son a loita entre o amor sagrado e o profano, e a redención a través do amor, tema dominante en boa parte da obra de Wagner.
A súa estrea tivo lugar en Dresden o 16 de outubro de 1845 baixo a dirección do propio compositor. A súa sobriña, Johanna Wagner, interpretou o papel de Elisabeth.
Existen catro versións da ópera; a terceira, a versión de París, é a que se adoita interpretar con máis frecuencia. Esta ópera é unha das integrantes do Canon de Bayreuth.
Tannhäuser segue no repertorio, se ben non está entre as óperas máis representadas, aparecendo nas estatísticas de Operabase no posto 53 das cen óperas máis representadas no período 2005-10, sendo a 14ª en Alemaña e a sexta de Wagner, con 82 representacións.
