Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman[1] (7 November 1888 - 21 November 1970), India ke ek physicist rahaa, jiske uske kaam "light scattering" ke khaatir jaana jaae hae.[2] Uu apne se ek Spectograh ke banae ke ii dekhais ki jab roshni ek transparent chij me se jaae hae, tab bahaar nikle waala roshni ke wavelength badal jaae hae. Iske aaj-kal Raman scattering bola jaae hae. Iske khaatir , 1930 me uske Nobel Prize in Physics milaa rahaa. Uu pahila jan jon goraa nai rahaa aur pahila Asian rahaa jon ki koi bhi science me Nobel Prize jeete rahaa.[3]
