Ryu Seung-soo

Ryu Seung-soo (lahir 12 Agustus 1971 ) adalah aktor Korea Selatan. Ia memulai debut aktingnya pada tahun 1997 dengan menjadi pemeran kecil dalam film arahan Park Chan-wook berjudul Trio, dan sejak saat itu, ia aktif berperan sebagai aktor pendukung dalam film maupun seri televisi. Beberapa film yang ia bintangi adalah Hi! Dharma! (2001), The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008), dan The Front Line (2011).^[3] Ia juga muncul dalam seri televisi Evasive Inquiry Agency (juga dikenal sebagai Four Gold Chasers, 2007), The Chaser (2012), dan Empire of Gold (2013).

Di awal karier, ia berperan dalam melodrama Winter Sonata yang membuatnya lebih dikenal di luar Korea berkat kepopuleran drama tersebut di seluruh Asia. Pada tahun 2009, ia menjadi pengisi suara karakternya dalam adaptasi animasi Winter Sonata.^[4][5][6][7]

Seung-soo menulis memoarnya berjudul Don't Be an Actor Like Me yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2009.^{[8][9][10][11][12]}

Kehidupan pribadi

Pada 19 April 2015, Seung-soo menikahi seorang wanita non selebriti bernama Yoon Hye-won yang lebih muda 11 tahun darinya. Keduanya menggelar pernikahan di Pulau Bali.^[13] Kini, keduanya telah dikarunia dua orang anak.^[14]
