Bathory var sænsk þungarokkshljómsveit stofnuð af þeim Tomas Börje Forsberg (gælunafn: Quorthon), Fredrik Melander og Jonas Åkerlund í Vällingby árið 1983. Bathory var ein af þeim hljómsveitum sem lagði grunninn af því sem seinna varð svartmálmur. Stofnendurnir nefndu hljómsveitina eftir blóðþyrstu ungversku greifynjunni Elizabeth Báthory.
