Dopo esser stati disputati i play-off per la Champions League, il Twente viene ammesso alla UEFA Champions League 2008-2009 e l'Ajax viene ammesso alla Coppa UEFA 2008-2009, mentre Heerenveen e NAC Breda, le altre due partecipanti eliminate prima della finale, si affrontano per decidere quale delle due accederà alla Coppa UEFA: vince l'Heerenveen.
