Šventoji Tradicija – katalikų ir stačiatikių dogmatiniai teiginiai – kitas po Biblijos jų tikėjimo šaltinis.
Bažnyčios laiko Šventąją Tradiciją Dievo apreikšta. Šventąją Tradicija vadinama todėl, kad dalis jos tekstų yra anksčiau žodžiu plitę religiniai priesakai. Ypač didelė reikšmė Šventajai Tradicijai teikiama Katalikų Bažnyčioje. Jos Šventąją Tradiciją sudaro apaštalų pamokslai, Bažnyčios tėvų veikalai, visų visuotinių ir kai kurių vietinių Bažnyčios susirinkimų nutarimai, popiežių laiškai bei enciklikos. Stačiatikių Bažnyčioje Šventąja Tradicija laikomi Bažnyčios tėvų veikalai ir tik pirmųjų 7 visuotinių Bažnyčios susirinkimų nutarimai. Protestantai jos išvis nepripažįsta. Dėl Šventosios Tradicijos, kaip tikėjimo šaltinio, buvo kilę daug diskusijų. Dėl šių ginčų įvyko daug skilimų, atsirado įvairių krikščionybės atšakų ir sektų.
Judaizme Šventąją Tradiciją dalinai atitinka Talmudas, islame – suna.[1]
