Kronštate (krievu: Кронштадт) ir pilsēta Krievijā Somu līča Kotļinas salā. Administratīvi ietilpst Sanktpēterburgas federālajā pilsētā. Kopš dibināšanas Pētera I laikā, Kronštate bijusi Krievijas Baltijas flotes karabāze un sargājusi jūras pieeju Sanktpēterburgai. Kronštates apbūve un aizsardzības būves iekļautas UNESCO Pasaules mantojuma sarakstā.

Kronštati kā kara bāzi Sanktpēterburgas aizsardzībai dibinājis Pēteris I, kad Kotļinas sala 1703. gadā tika atņemta Zviedrijai. Pirmie nocietinājumi tika uzcelti 1704. gadā. 19. gadsimta vidū jelgavnieks Eduards Totlēbens veica papildu nocietināšanas darbus. Krievijas revolūciju laikā Kronštates jūrnieki tika uzskatīti par vienu no revolūcijas redzamākajiem spēkiem, tomēr 1921. gada martā ar lozungu "varu padomēm, nevis partijām" šeit izcēlās Kronštates sacelšanās. Sacelšanās tika nežēlīgi apspiesta, masveidā piemērojot nāvessodu. Tomēr pēc sacelšanās Padomju valstī tika ieviesta NEP. Otrā pasaules kara laikā Kronštate palika PSRS spēku kontrolē, tomēr tā tika regulāri bombardēta. 1983. gadā, izbūvējot Sanktpēterburgas apvedceļu, Kronštate pa dambi tika savienota ar sauszemi. Ilgstoši bija t.s. slēgtā pilsēta, bet kopš 1996. gada Kronštati drīkst brīvi apmeklēt jebkuras valsts pilsoņi.
Kronštate ir basketbola trenera Aleksandra Gomeļska (Александр Яковлевич Гомельский, 1928—2005), dzejnieka Nikolaja Gumiļova (Николай Степанович Гумилёв, 1886—1921), fiziķa Pjotra Kapicas (Пётр Леонидович Капица, 1894—1984) un Dmitrija Medvedeva sievas Svetlanas Medvedevas (1965) dzimtā pilsēta
