ഒരു രാസസംയുക്തത്തിൽ അടങ്ങിയ ആറ്റങ്ങളുടെ അനുപാതങ്ങളെപറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരങ്ങളെ കാണിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള രീതിയാണ് രാസസൂത്രം ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: Chemical formula. ഇതിനായി ഒരുവരി രാസമൂലകങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതീകങ്ങൾ, സംഖ്യകൾ, ചിലസമയത്ത്, ഡാഷുകൾ, ബ്രാക്കറ്റുകൾ, കോമകൾ, അധികചിഹ്നം (+), ന്യൂനചിഹ്നം (−) തുടങ്ങിയ മറ്റു പ്രതീകങ്ങൾ, എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

Structural formula for butane. This is not a chemical formula. Examples of chemical formulas for butane are the empirical formula C₂H₅, the molecular formula C₄H₁₀ and the condensed (or semi-structural) formula CH₃CH₂CH₂CH₃.
