2016- ൽ ക്രിസ്റ്റെൻ ഹട്സിന്റെയും Byng യുടെയും വർഗ്ഗീകരണം അനുസരിച്ച് 285 അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന സ്പീഷീസുകളുൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന 15 ജീനസുകളുടെ സപുഷ്പികളുടെ ഒരു സസ്യകുടുംബമാണ് കോൾച്ചികേസീ^[2] .
