അമേരിക്കൻ ദീർഘദൂര യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് വേണ്ടി ന്യൂയോർക്ക് സെൻട്രൽ റെയിൽറോഡ് ഗ്രാൻഡ് സെൻട്രൽ ടെർമിനൽ നിർമ്മിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. 1991 വരെ ടെർമിനൽ അംട്രാക്കും സേവനം അനുഷ്ടിച്ചിരുന്നു. എംപയർ സംവിധാനത്തിന്റെ കണക്ഷൻ പൂർത്തിയായതിനുശേഷം അടുത്തുള്ള പെൻസിൽവാനിയ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ സേവനം ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. 2017 വേനൽക്കാലത്ത്, ലിമിറ്റഡ് അംട്രാക്കും സേവനം നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. 2018 , പെൻ സ്റ്റേഷൻ നിർമ്മാണം നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ന്യൂ യോർക്ക് അംട്രാക്ക് സർവീസ് നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. ലോംഗ് ഐലൻഡിൽ റെയിൽറോഡ് ടെർമിനലിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ ഈസ്റ്റ് സൈഡ് ആക്സസ് പദ്ധതി ആരംഭിച്ചു.
