NH4Cl എന്ന രാസസൂത്രമുള്ള ഒരു അകാർബണിക സംയുക്തമാണ്, നവസാരം എന്നുകൂടി അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന അമോണിയം ക്ലോറൈഡ്. വെളുത്ത നിറമുള്ള, ജലത്തിൽ നന്നായി ലയിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ക്രിസ്റ്റലൈൻ (പരൽ രൂപ) ലവണമാണിത്. നവസാരത്തിന്റെ പ്രകൃതിദത്തമായ ധാതുരൂപം സാൽ അമോണിയാക് എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ ലായിനിക്ക് നേരിയ അമ്ലസ്വഭാവമാണുള്ളത്. ഇത് പ്രധാനമായും രാസവളങ്ങളുടെ നിർമ്മാണത്തിന് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. ചിലതരം മദ്യങ്ങളിൽ സുഗന്ധമുള്ള ഏജന്റായും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഹൈഡ്രോക്ലോറിക് ആസിഡിന്റെയും അമോണിയയുടെയും പ്രതിപ്രവർത്തനത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഉൽപന്നമാണിത്.
