ഡ്രെസ്ഡെൻ

ജർമനിയിലെ സാക്സണിയുടെ തലസ്ഥാനവും^[2] ലീപ്സിഗ് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ സാക്സണിയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ രണ്ടാമത്തെ നഗരവുമാണ് ഡ്രെസ്ഡെൻ. (Dresden ജർമ്മൻ ഉച്ചാരണം: [ˈdʁeːsdn̩]  ( listen); Upper and Lower Sorbian: Drježdźany, ചെക്ക്: Drážďany, Polish: Drezno) ^[3]. എൽബ് നദിയുടെ തീരത്തായി ചെക്ക് റിപബ്ലിക്കുമായുള്ള. അതിർത്തിക്ക് സമീപമായാണ് ഈ നഗരം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.
