Pengepungan Baitulmuqaddis (597 SM) ialah kempen tentera yang dijalankan oleh Nebukadnezar II, raja Empayar Babylon Baru, yang mana beliau mengepung Baitulmuqaddis, ibu kota Kerajaan Yehuda ketika itu. Baitulmuqaddis menyerah, dan raja Yekhonya dibuang ke Babylon dan digantikan oleh bapa saudaranya yang dilantik oleh Babylonia, Zedekia. Pengepungan ini direkodkan dalam Bible Ibrani (2 Raja–Raja 24:10–16) dan Tawarikh Nebukadnezar dari Babylonia.

Pada tahun 601 SM, Nebukadnezar II gagal menawan Mesir dan tewas dengan ramai korban. Yoyakim—raja Yehuda—mengambil kesempatan ini untuk memberontak terhadap Babylonia dan menyokong Mesir, walaupun Nabi Yeremia menentang keras.[1][2][3] Yoyakim mati tanpa penjelasan. Baginda digantikan oleh anaknya yang masih kecil, Yekhonya.[4][5]
Babylonia mengepung Baitulmuqaddis, dan pada bulan Mac 597 SM kota itu menyerah. Yekhonya, seisi istana, bangsawan dan rakyat lain dibuang ke Babylon.[6] Peristiwa ini dianggap sebagai permulaan penawanan Babylonia dan tersebarnya bangsa Yahudi. Bapa saudara Yekhonya, Zedekia, dilantik sebagai raja bawahan di Yehuda.
Sepuluh tahun kemudian, Zedekia melancarkan satu lagi pemberontakan terhadap Babylonia, yang menyebabkan Baitulmuqaddis dihancurkan oleh Nebukadnezar II. Pada 587 SM, pengepungan kedua Baitulmuqaddis memuncak dengan kemusnahan kota dan Kuil Salomo, mengakhiri Kerajaan Yehuda.[1]
