ဒိုင်းယက် /ˈdaɪ.ək/ ဒယက်(သို့) ဒယုဟ်သည် ဘော်နီယိုကျွန်း၏ ဇာတိလူမျိုး ဖြစ်သည်။ ^[၃] အဓိကအားဖြင့် မျိုးနွယ်စုများ၏ ကွဲပြားသောစရိုက်များကိုအလွယ်တကူခွဲခြား ဖော်ပြနိုင်သော်လည်း ၂၀၀၅ခုနှစ်တွင် မြစ်ကမ်းနှင့်တောင်တန်းဒေသရှိလူမျိုးစုခွဲများသည် ဘော်နီယို၏အလယ်ပိုင်းနှင့်တောင်ပိုင်းအတွင်းပိုင်းတွင်အဓိကနေထိုင်လျက်ရှိပြီး ၎င်းတို့၏ ကိုယ်ပိုင်စကား၊ ဓလေ့ထုံးတမ်းများ၊ ဥပဒေများ၊ နယ်မြေနှင့်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုများရှိသည်။ ဒိုင်းယက်ဘာသာစကားများကိုအာရှရှိ ဩစတြိုနီးယားဘာသာစကား၏ တစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းအဖြစ်ခွဲခြားထားသည်။ အဆိုပါ ဒိုင်းယက်တို့၏ ယုံကြည်မှုသည် နတ်ကိုးကွယ်မှုဖြစ်သည်။ သို့သော် လူအများအပြား အစ္စလာမ်သို့ကူးပြောင်းခဲ့ပြီး ၁၉ ရာစုမှစ၍ ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာသို့ ကူးပြောင်းသွားကြပြန်သည်။ ^[၄] ယနေ့  ဒိုင်းယက် အများစုသည် သူတို့၏ ရှေးဟောင်းအစဉ်အလာအစဉ်အလာအတိုင်းဆက်လက်ကျင်သုံးနေဆဲဖြစ်သော်လည်း အင်ဒိုနီးရှားနိုင်ငံတွင် အသိအမှတ်ပြုခံထားရသော ဘာသာ (၆) ခုအနက်မှတစ်ခုဖြစ်သည်ဟုဖော်ပြလေ့ရှိသည်။ ^[၅]
