ဖြာထွက်စွမ်းအင် (အင်္ဂလိပ်: Radiant energy) ဆိုသည်မှာ လျှပ်စစ်သံလိုက်ဖြာထွက်ခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် ဒြပ်ဆွဲအားဆိုင်ရာဖြာထွက်ခြင်းစွမ်းအင်များ ဖြစ်ကြသည်။[1] ဖြာထွက်စွမ်းအင်၏ နိုင်ငံတကာသုံးယူနစ်မှာ ဂျိုးလ်(joule[J]) ဖြစ်သည်။ လျှပ်စစ်သံလိုက်ဖြာထွက်ခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် ဒြပ်ဆွဲအားဆိုင်ရာဖြာထွက်ခြင်း သည် ရင်းမြစ်တစ်ခုမှ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်သို့ ဖြာထွက်သည့်အခါတွင်သာ သုံးသည့် စကားလုံးအသုံးအနှုန်း ဖြစ်သည်။ ဖြာထွက်ရောင်ခြည်များအား မျက်စိဖြင့် မြင်နိုင်သည်ရှိသလို မမြင်နိုင်သည်လည်း ရှိသည်။[2][3] ဒြပ်ဆွဲအားဆိုင်ရာဖြာထွက်ခြင်းသည် မကြာသေးမီကာလဖြစ်သည့် ၂၀၁၆ ခုနှစ် နှစ်ဦးပိုင်းတွင်မှာ လက်တွေ့စမ်းသပ် အတည်ပြုထားသည့် ဖြာထွက်စွမ်းအင် ပုံစံဖြစ်သည်။
