Doha

Doha (Arabisch: الدوحة, ad-doha of ad-dawhah, letterlijk: "de grote boom") is de hoofdstad van Qatar en de volkrijkste gemeente van het land. De stad heeft ongeveer 800.000 inwoners en ligt aan de Perzische Golf. Meer dan 60% van de totale bevolking van Qatar woont in deze stad, die tevens het economische hart van het land is. Doha is gebouwd rond de Baai van Doha.
