De egale toonhaai[3] (Mustelus griseus) is een haai uit de familie van de gladde haaien.[4][5]
De egale toonhaai komt voor in het noordwesten van de Grote Oceaan bij Japan,[5] Korea,[5][6] China,[5][7][8] Taiwan[5] en Vietnam[9] en mogelijk ook bij de Filipijnen.[8]
