The 39 Steps is een Britse suspensefilm uit 1935, gebaseerd op het gelijknamige boek van John Buchan. De film is geregisseerd door Alfred Hitchcock en wordt gezien als een voorloper van zijn latere spionagefilms zoals North by Northwest.
