Trivia

De naam Darlington was in Nederland jarenlang berucht, nadat het Nederlands voetbalelftal hier in 1907 met 12-2 van de Engelse amateurs verloor. Dit is nog altijd de grootste nederlaag in de geschiedenis van Oranje.
