Lardizabalaceae is een botanische naam, voor een familie van tweezaadlobbige planten. Het gaat om een kleine familie van 47 soorten verdeeld over 7 geslachten.[1] Met uitzondering van Decaisnea betreft het allemaal lianen. Decaisnea omvat heesters. De bladeren zijn samengesteld en afwisselend geplaatst. De bloemen staan vaak in hangende trossen. De soorten komen voor in Oost-Azië, van de Himalaya tot Japan. Uitzonderingen zijn Lardizabala en Boquila. Deze zijn afkomstig uit het zuiden van Zuid-Amerika.

Een familie onder deze naam wordt algemeen erkend door systemen van plantentaxonomie, en ook door het APG-systeem (1998) en het APG II-systeem (2003). Wel wijken APG en APG II af van andere systemen door ook de planten in te voegen die traditioneel de familie Sargentodoxaceae vormen.
