Carrickfergus (irsk Carraig Fhearghais) er ein by i i County Antrim i Irland. Han har kring 27 000 innbyggjarar og ligg på nordsida av Belfast Lough, 20 km frå Belfast. Byen er kalla opp etter Fergus Mór mac Eirc, kongen av Dál Riata på 500-talet. Han er den eldste byen i County Antrim og ein av dei eldste busetjingane i Nord-Irland.[2] Carrickfergus er ein del av Belfast storbyområde.

Byen er tema i den klassiske irske folkevisa «Carrickfergus» frå 1800-talet, som starta med orda «I wish I was in Carrickfergus».[3]
Den britiske adelstittelen Baron Carrickfergus, som forsvann i 1883, vart gjeven til prins William, hertug av Cambridge på bryllaupsdagen hans den 29. april 2011.
