Niemann gav ut debutalbumet sitt, Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury, i 2010. Han har etter kvart hatt minst ti topp 40-singlar på Hot Country Songs- og Country Airplay-listene, mellom andre «Lover, Lover» og «Drink to That All Night», som begge gjekk heilt til topps.

Han har skrive tre songar for Garth Brooks, mellom andre hitten «Good Ride Cowboy».
