Den første innspelinga Ostroushko deltok på var som mandolinist på Bob Dylan-albumet Blood on the Tracks i 1974.^[1][2] Han har turnert med Robin and Linda Williams, Norman Blake og Chet Atkins. Ostroushko har òg arbeidd med Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Johnny Gimble, Greg Brown, John Hartford og The Radiators, blant fleire.
