Tower of Power

Tower of Power (eller TOP) er ei amerikansk R&B-basert blåserekkje og band frå Oakland i California som har spelt i lag sidan 1968.^[1] Dei er mest kjend for sin funky soul med ei kraftig blåserekkje og presist synkoperte bass-gitarlinjer. Dei har hatt fleire solovokalistar, og den mest kjende er kanskje Lenny Williams, som fronta bandet i 1973-1974, då bandet hadde størst kommersiell suksess. Dei største hittane deira er «You're Still a Young Man», «So Very Hard to Go», «Soul With a Capital S», «Soul Vaccination», «What Is Hip?» og «Don't Change Horses (in the Middle of a Stream)».
