Ørsta er et tettsted og administrasjonssenteret i Ørsta kommune i Møre og Romsdal fylke. Tettstedet ligger ved botnen av Ørstafjorden og har 7 568 innbyggere per 1. januar 2023.[1][2]

Ørsta er et lokalt handelssentrum og er også et senter innen møbel-, metallvare- og næringsmiddelindustri. Blant annet har veiselskapet Saferoad og møbelprodusenten Fora Form kontorer i Ørsta. TINE Meierier har et meierianlegg lokalisert i Ørsta sentrum. Dette har vært truet av nedleggelse som følge av kostnadskutt, men driften av anlegget ble vedtatt videreført i 2016.[3]
I Ørsta står Dyre Vaas monument over Ivar Aasen og Anne Grimdalens monument over Anders Hovden, som begge er født i Ørsta. Ivar Aasen-museet fra 1898 står i Hovdebygda sørvest for tettstedet, og er et dokumentasjonssenter for nynorsk skriftkultur. I Ørsta ligger Møre Folkehøgskule og Ørsta vidaregåande skule. Her står også Ørsta kirke, en langkirke fra 1864. Avisen Møre-Nytt utkommer i Ørsta tre dager i uken. 15 kilometer nordvest for Ørsta ligger alpinanlegget Ørsta Skisenter og 5 kilometer vest for tettstedet ligger museet Brudavolltunet.
Gjennom tettstedet Ørsta går Europavei 39 (E39), den ytre stamveien på Vestlandet. Veien går videre langs Vartdalsfjorden med ferje over fjorden til Sula og Ålesund (Festøya–Solavågen). Sørover fra tettstedet går E39 via Volda til Grodås i Hornindal kommune (Kvivsvegen). Fra Ørsta sentrum går riksvei 655 gjennom Bondalen og med ferje over Hjørundfjorden (Sæbø–Lekneset) og videre gjennom Norangsdalen til Hellesylt i Stranda kommune. Om lag 4,0 kilometer sørvest for tettstedet Ørsta ligger flyplassen Ørsta/Volda lufthavn, nær kommunegrensa til Volda.[4]
