Lo choctaw es una lenga muscogèa parlada fins al sègle XIX, dins lo sud-èst dels Estats Units. La lenga es uèi parlada per los Chickasaw que vivon en Oklahoma e per una banda qu'es demorada al Mississipi, prèp de Philadelphia. La lenga es pròcha del chickasaw.
